DJI’s Releases First Delivery Drone, DJI FlyCart 30 (FC30)

DJI released its first civilian carrier drone DJI FlyCart 30 (FC30), combining large load capacity, long range, strong signal, and high intelligence. It is suitable for use in mountainous areas, material transportation in shore-based, rural transportation scenarios and various emergency scenarios.

FC30 adopts a 4-axis, 8-blade multi-rotor configuration, with a maximum payload of 30kg in dual-electric mode and a maximum range of 16km with a full load. The whole machine has IP55 protection level, can adapt to the working environment temperature of -20°C to 45°C, and has a maximum flight altitude of 6000m.

It has strong environmental adaptability and can adapt to all-weather, wide-area conditions. Operation scenarios across temperature and altitude ranges. It has two load modes: cargo box and empty crane. The cargo box supports quick disassembly and automatic weighing, and the empty crane supports functions such as intelligent swing elimination and emergency fuse, providing users with flexible, diverse, stable and reliable usage options.

Brand new dual-battery system, 20km O3 image transmission, multi-directional intelligent obstacle avoidance, intelligent multiple backup landing points, support for dual control in one machine and standard parachute, ensuring maximum safety in use. Combined with the DJI Syun Cloud Platform and Pilot 2 APP, which are specially designed for transportation applications, it provides users with a more efficient, economical, and safe integrated software and hardware air transportation solution.

30kg Dual-Electric Load Capacity And 16km Flight Range Solve The Need For Efficient Transportation

The FC30 breaks through space limitations with its large load capacity and long range, making it possible to reach its mission. The equipment adopts a 4-axis, 8-blade multi-rotor configuration and a new dual-battery system.

The maximum load capacity is 30kg in dual-battery mode and 40kg in single-battery mode. The longest range covers 28 kilometers when dual batteries are fully loaded. The entire series is equipped with carbon fiber propellers as standard, with a maximum flight speed of 20 meters/second.

FC30 is designed for efficient transportation, which can effectively improve the practical feasibility of drone transportation, meet the needs of material transportation from mountains, shores, rural transportation and various emergency scenarios, so that more people can enjoy the benefits of drone transportation, convenience.

Super Environmental Adaptability Allows Transportation Everywhere

There are complex factors such as weather and terrain changes in various transportation scenarios such as mountainous areas, shore-based transportation, and rural transportation. In order to improve the accessibility and reliability of the equipment, the FC30 can support all-weather, wide temperature range, and cross-country transportation through super protection design. Operation at altitude allows transportation to go anywhere.

The whole machine has an IP55 protection level, waterproof and dustproof; it can adapt to the working environment temperature from -20°C to 45°C, supporting users to fly in high and low temperature environments; the maximum wind resistance is 12 m/s,  maximum flight altitude is 6,000m to adapt to transportation needs in different altitude areas; the standard propellers are optimised for high altitudes, and low-altitude large-load propellers are optional, allowing the FC30 to maintain a maximum load of 30 kg in dual-electric mode at altitudes from 0 to 3,000m.

On the basis of ensuring safety, the product performance is released to the maximum extent; in order to adapt to the operating needs in low-temperature and cold working conditions, the battery supports a self-heating function, making charging and discharging the battery in low-temperature environments no longer difficult.

Stable Image Transmission At 20km Makes Flight Operations Smoother

The FC30 fuselage is equipped with DJI O3 image transmission, and the image transmission distance can reach up to 20km, meeting the needs of long-distance transportation beyond visual range. When the image transmission signal is interfered, FC30 can be equipped with the DJI enhanced image transmission module to connect to the network to achieve 4G enhanced image transmission.

It can obtain stable and clear images in various operating environments and handle it calmly. Signal obstruction in complex environments makes flying safer. In addition, FC30 supports dual control of one aircraft.

Pilots in two places can switch the control authority of the drone with one click and work together to effectively solve problems such as signal blocking and insufficient cargo delivery accuracy in long-distance transportation, further improving operation coverage distance and working accuracy.

Dual Radar, Dual Vision And Parachute Design Ensure Operational Safety

FC30 is equipped with intelligent safety protection measures throughout the entire process from takeoff to landing, effectively ensuring the safety of people, machines and objects. Before takeoff, the system can conduct accessibility assessments based on mission requirements, equipment and flight environment conditions, help users choose appropriate flight routes, and ensure safety before takeoff through functions such as drone sound and light prompts and delayed propeller launch.

During flight, through the forward and backward rotating active phased array radar and binocular vision system equipped on the fuselage, FC30 can achieve multi-directional, all-weather, and all-time intelligent obstacle avoidance during flight, allowing users to avoid obstacles in various scenarios.

It can operate safely and make the flight smoother; the built-in ADS-B signal receiver can provide timely warning of surrounding manned aircraft information, making the flight more secure.

The UAV is equipped with a built-in parachute as standard, with support functions such as power-on self-check, independent power supply, power off before parachute deployment, sound and light alarm, multi-mode triggering, etc. It can achieve low-altitude parachute deployment and stable landing, reducing extreme situations. Lower the risk of personal and property loss.

In addition, the FC30 is powered by a dual-battery system and coupled with multiple redundant designs, it can easily cope with harsh operating environments and ensure flight safety to the greatest extent.

Flexible Switching Of Load Modes To Cope With Different Transportation Scenarios

The folding storage design of FC30  can reduce the size of the equipment, meet the transportation needs of ordinary vehicles, and increase the convenience of equipment deployment, use and maintenance. The two load modes of cargo box and empty crane system provide more flexible and comprehensive solutions for different transportation scenarios.

In the cargo box loading mode, a standard universal size EPP cargo box with a maximum volume of 70 litres can be quickly disassembled and assembled within 3 minutes, making it easy to load and unload goods. The cargo box supports weight and center of gravity detection to ensure that cargo is loaded correctly, making the flight safer and more stable.
